Students who want to become entrepreneurs must display a unique combination of skills and competencies. The current research on entrepreneurship consistently identifies themes including recognition and exploitation of opportunities, innovation/change, and value creation. By asking students questions about their creativity, opportunism, proactivity, and vision for the future, we are able to assess the spectrum of entrepreneurship in youth.
